Soccer REAL controls

Hold to aim, adjust the direction, then release to send the ball. Poki describes aiming and shooting; ZapGames also describes dragging a pass or shot direction.

Source notes

The shared hold-and-release sequence is supported by Poki and ZapGames. MEEGames separately documents touch-and-hold and lifting a finger to shoot. These are public instructions, not trackpad or phone tests.

Mouse: hold, adjust, release

  1. Click and hold inside the game to begin aiming.
  2. While holding, adjust the direction. ZapGames describes dragging the mouse to draw the ball’s path.
  3. Release to play the pass or take the shot, according to the game situation.

Poki’s shorter wording is “Click and hold to aim, release to shoot.” It does not contradict the longer drag description.

Touch: the published mobile instruction

MEEGames describes touching and holding the screen, then lifting a finger to shoot. Poki and ZapGames list phone and tablet browser support. Direction adjustment follows the visible game prompts; this audit did not establish device-specific gestures. See mobile notes.

Keyboard and input problems

No complete keyboard binding list was found in the reviewed Poki or ZapGames instructions. That absence does not prove WASD, spacebar, or every shortcut is unsupported.

As general browser suggestions, give the player focus by clicking or tapping inside it and distinguish game controls from surrounding ads. These are not tested fixes. See loading advice if the page remains blank.

What the linked video adds

The public recording below shows Quick Match selection and an aiming guide during play. It is an example of one recorded build, not proof that every portal has identical controls or modes. Its 7–1 results screen is labeled Quick Match, so it is not evidence of a Tournament result.
